Creating Your Best Self - What's in a Name?

What do we mean by creating your best self? First, that you CAN create the future that you want.  

When we dream about what we want, many of us feel that it’s out of our reach. That we don’t have what it takes to BECOME the person that’s capable of living those dreams.  

On the Creating Your Best Self Podcast it’s our desire to show you that’s just not true. That you can create your best self and become the person with the skills, motivation, and desire to tackle anything that life throws your way. You are capable. You can create your best self.  

This website and podcast are more than just motivation. It holds the information you need to go about creating the life you want.  

You don’t have to be born with money, or even with the so call “it” factor. All you need is the desire to change and the willingness to go about it.  

The word create means to bring something into existence. It’s something that you make, compose, or devise. This is how we want you to think about life. It’s something that you create. It’s your design.  

Often, we find ourselves floating through life, just going with the flow. But what would happen if you had a plan and you started going against the flow? What if you worked at creating your best self?

That is the heart of the Creating Your Best Self Podcast. We believe that you can create a better life. That the only difference between your current self and your future desires is time and the wisdom to know how to use that time to create a better version of yourself.

Success is a balancing act, it's not just about the money you make, but also your health, your relationships, and your spirituality.  

Creating your best self is more than just the name of our podcast, it’s our focus. We could have just used the word create, which is a great verb, but we added -ing to focus on the present action of the word. It’s to signify that your future life takes present action.  

Don’t Just Learn, Create 

Procrastination is the antithesis of personal development. Personal development requires you to act. You can’t focus solely on learning how to create your best self; you must DO it.  

We encourage you to learn all that you can, but we also encourage you to make it a joint endeavor alongside action. Start small, it’s okay, you don’t have to see large strides from day one. In fact, small steps are best as you work at replacing old unhealthy habits with good new ones
